Sanaz: Please explain what Terraseria means and when did you guys formed the band?

Hi Sanaz thanks for your time girl!!! Terraseria means Dirt Road...and it means a lot to us...because it represents all the struggles in life we encounter; it means fighting for something we really want and we believe in...life is never a plain road...it has its ups and downs...and its just a ride!!!!what a fucking ride it is!!

Sanaz: You guys gave away 1000 CD's in 2004! That is a lot of CD's to just give away! What made you do that and did it have an effect on your career?

well we had two demos out...in 2005 till 2008 and that was the only way to promote our band giving away cd´s!! we had a lot of support from people who new us, giving us cd´s making copies of the covers so we could make them!!..and forever we will be thankful!!

Sanaz: Overall, how do you describe the band and how are your shows like?

our band has a really positive outlook...and we try to enjoy ourselves in our shows...we try to put the bright side in the metal;but still it is METAL MUSIC and our shows are BRUTAL!! there have been smashed faces, broken ribs and a lot of bruises...

Sanaz: The Metal Scene is HUGE in Mexico, and it's every metal bands dream to get the opportunity to play there... How does that make you feel?

well...Mexico its a great country(even with all its flaws and whatnot) we are proud to be part of the movement and hope to see it grow someday so we can have more metal fans out there!!

Sanaz: Your album is called War Confessions and its a conceptual album whats the story behind it?

well its divided in 3 parts...

I the beginning
IIdementia and
IIIthe end of faceless..
and its about a mexican who makes the choice to cross the border in search for a better life....but things don´t turn out really good to him...and horrible things start to happen to him...and makes him lose his mind....it starts a war in his head...ending with his own fall... This album is like a tribute to all of those who in search of a better life, has lost it all...and at the same time...as a thank you to all our American brothers who has helped our people and treat them the right way...we are all human after all!!

Sanaz: Tell me about your video "Forever Crucified"... it's a very touching video... what is the message and who did you guys work with on making the video?

that song its part of chapter III The end of faceless..and its about all the madness that its happening to him...there is a line there....that says "hatred is raining all over us" and in a way...its what was happening in his mind...all hatred...all war all death... the video we made it ourselves!! Javi Cuesta a good friend of ours helped us a lot directing the video.

Sanaz: What's it like to be an underground metal band in a third world country?

its a strugle and you have to have a lot of balls!! =)
right now the main problem its the insecurity we live in...but we love our metal and we won´t stop even if we have to only play local shows!!

Sanaz: What's the highlight of your career so far?

been the first mexican metal artist to be interviewed by Metal Hammer magazine in a special cover story about underground bands around the globe and my band appearing representing Mexico and of course sharing the same bill with carcass...

Sanaz: 2011 is here and we want to know what you guys have in store for us?

we are planning a tour in the summer trough Texas...hope we can go and visit all of our brothers from that state...we are writing stuff for our new album...and we are recording on december our second album...and in february we start shooting our third single "America"

Sanaz: Is there any shows and tours being planned for this year?

we were included in Saltillo´s International Expo Tattoo in february...and the tour in Texas...hope we can set it up...

Terraseria touring the Ozzfest...Wacken, and all the big festivals...=)
